Thesis
A thesis is a short note on why you hold a collection. Only holders can post one, and it always comes with proof: your size, your entry and your PnL, right next to your words.
What a thesis looks like
Bought the dip under 2.1. Holding through the next drop, the art is still the best on the chain.
- Who: your name and picture from your profile.
- Size: how many NFTs of the collection you held when you posted, and what they are worth at today's floor.
- PnL: today's floor against your average entry, the average price you paid for the collection.
- Likes: anyone signed in can like a thesis once. Press again to take the like back.
Your thesis also lands on the floor chart as your avatar, in the candle of the moment you posted. Anyone can hover it to read it and click it to open your position. See The floor chart.
Who can post
Only wallets that hold at least one NFT of the collection at the moment of posting. The check runs every time, on the wallet you signed in with.
| Collection | How holding is checked |
|---|---|
| Ethereum, Solana, Base, Robinhood Chain | The NFTs of your wallet in that collection, through |
| Launched on mints | An on chain search of your wallet's assets in the collection |
Rules
| Rule | Limit |
|---|---|
| Length | 3 to 600 characters. Extra blank lines are trimmed. |
| Pace | Up to 3 thesis a minute per wallet. |
| Holding | 1 NFT or more of that collection, at the moment you post. |
History
You can post as many thesis as you like on a collection. They do not replace each other: each one is a dated entry with the size and entry you had at that moment. The Thesis tab shows everyone's, newest first. The position window shows one holder's full history, the latest marked as Latest, so you can see how their view changed as they bought or sold.
Where a thesis shows up
- The Thesis tab of the collection, and as an avatar on its chart.
- The Holders tab, next to your position, when you hold through mints.
- Discover, as the latest thesis of that collection.
- The Feed in the left column, mixed with trades made on mints.
- Your public profile page.
Posting is free and is not a transaction. Moderators can hide a thesis that breaks the terms.
