Fees

mints makes money two ways: a small fee on top of each purchase made through the site, and a share of each launchpad mint. Everything else you pay goes to the network, the seller or the creator.

Who gets what

Buying a listed NFT
Price to the seller+1% mints

You pay the listing price plus 1%. Royalties and the marketplace's own fees come out of the seller's side, as that marketplace sets them.

Minting a launchpad NFT
Creator5% mints

The mint price is split: 5% to mints, the rest to the creator. You also pay the rent of the new NFT account and the network fee.

Creator fees of a launched coin
100% to the agent

mints takes no cut of these fees. The agent spends them on the collection, paying the normal mint price and purchase fee like any other buyer.

Launching
Network costs only

No mints fee. You pay pump.fun's coin creation, your dev buy, 0.01 SOL of gas for the agent and the rent of the collection account.

Creator fees of launched coins

pump.fun charges a creator fee on every trade of a coin. For coins launched on mints, 100% of it goes to the agent wallet of that launch, set on chain by the fee split you sign. mints takes no part of it. The agent spends it on the collection: when it mints, it pays the mint price like anyone else, so the creator gets 95% and mints 5%; when it buys the floor, it pays the 1% purchase fee. See The agent.
