Glossary
Every word the docs and the site use, in one place, with a link to where it is explained in full.
A
- Agent
- The wallet that runs a launch: it receives all creator fees of the coin, mints the collection, buys its floor and drops NFTs to holders. One per launch. More
- Avg. entry
- The average price a wallet paid for the NFTs of a collection. In the Holders tab and the position window, only buys on mints count, mints included; drops are free and left out.
B
- B and S marks
- Small marks on the chart for buys and sells made on mints. With My trades on, they are your own. More
- Bonding curve
- How a new pump.fun coin trades before it has a pool: the price follows a fixed curve as people buy and sell.
- Buy the floor
- The right column of a collection page: the cheapest listing with Buy now, and the next ones below it. More
C
- Candle
- One bar of the chart. It covers one interval and shows the opening, highest, lowest and closing sale price in it.
- Collection offer
- A buy order at your price that any NFT of the collection can fill. More
- Creator fee
- The fee pump.fun charges on every trade of a coin for its creator. On mints launches, all of it goes to the agent.
D
- Dev buy
- Coins the creator buys in the same transaction that creates the coin.
- Drop
- One NFT the agent sends to a coin holder drawn at random, on a fixed timer. Listed as Drop in Sales and the Feed, free. More
E
- Edition
- A collection made from one image: every NFT shares the picture and has its own number. More
F
- Fee split
- The setting on pump.fun that says who receives a coin's creator fees. A mints launch sets it to 100% for the agent.
- Feed
- A live stream of trades made on mints and new thesis, in the left column. More
- FIFO
- First in, first out: a sale is matched with the oldest unsold purchase of the same NFT by the same wallet. Used for realized PnL. More
- Floor
- The price of the cheapest listing of a collection right now.
H
- Holder
- A wallet that holds at least one NFT of a collection, or tokens of a coin. The Holders tab lists wallets that hold through mints.
I
- Interval
- How much time one candle covers, from 1 minute to 1 week. More
- Invested
- The sum a wallet paid in its buys of a collection on mints.
L
- Launches
- The left column tab of coins launched on mints, each with its collection, mint progress and the coin's market cap. More
- Launchpad
- The part of mints that starts a pump.fun coin together with its own NFT collection. More
- Leaderboard
- The Top tab: the 100 wallets that traded the most on mints in the last 30 days, by volume, realized PnL or trades. More
- Limit order
- An order at your own price that waits until the market reaches it: a collection offer to buy, or a listing to sell. More
- Listing
- An NFT offered for sale at a fixed price.
M
- Metaplex Core
- The Solana NFT standard used for launchpad collections. Each NFT is one account with its owner, name and metadata link.
- Mint
- Creating a new NFT of a collection. On the launchpad anyone can mint at the creator's price until the supply runs out.
O
- One of one
- An NFT with its own image that exists once. Several images make a collection of one of ones. More
P
- Platform key
- The mints key allowed to move a launchpad NFT that its owner listed on mints, only inside a paid purchase. More
- PnL
- Profit and loss. Unrealized: what you hold at today's floor minus what you paid. Realized: what you sold for minus what you paid.
- Position
- What a wallet holds in a collection, valued at the floor, with its entry and PnL. More
- Position window
- The window with one wallet's chart, thesis history, numbers and transactions. Opens from avatars, holders, sales and thesis.
Q
- Quick buy

U

- WETH
- Wrapped ETH: ETH in token form. Offers on the EVM chains are made in it.
